Conditions We Help You Navigate

TMJ Dysfunction

Jaw Pain is frustrating. It distracts you from your work leads to headaches and irritability and often keeps you from sleeping. We have soft tissue alignment techniques which can make a vast difference in your experience by offering effective countermeasures to the perpetuation of your pain cycle.

Headache/Migraine

Everything is more difficult with head and neck pain. It's hard to self recover, because our ability to think is diminished by our symptom and finding a way out of stress feels impossible. Having a therapist support you with objective awareness and supportive pattern interrupts is extremely beneficial towards normalizing your function.

Rotator Cuff Issues

Repetitive motion, athletic pursuit, and working with arms overhead often result in shoulder impingement which is detrimental to the structural integrity of the shoulder and often leads to pain.

Low Back Pain/Sciatica

Low back pain is one of the leading causes of loss of work. It limits our ability to sit, stand or lift and sometimes can be debilitating. There are often muscular issues contributing to keeping us in pain and usually these respond quickly to the right kind of correction. We will assess for symmetry and muscle function to get you back functional as soon a possible.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Desk work has increased in recent years, especially since work-from- home culture became normal. This has many benefits, and a few drawbacks. One large challenge is the postures and overuse patterns which bring wrist and hand pain or weakness. We can help you minimize the impact of occupational stress and give you strategies to work more effectively without pain.

How We Help You Thrive

1) Assessment

It starts with listening. Your therapist will take a detailed health history and work with you through motion palpation, mobility testing and discussing pain referral and distribution patterns so that we know that we're on the same page.

2) Treatment

Your therapist will use information gathered in the assessment phase to predict which treatments will best match your goal statement and choose a treatment plan for you. During treatments we will check in to make sure we're meeting your needs.

3) Progress Evaluation

We're always going to refer back to your goal statement to determine if our treatments are moving you in the right direction. In the end, we want you to win. That happens when you're living your best life on your own terms.

Our Philosophy

Mind and Body Are a Unit
Structure and Function are Interrelated
The Body is Self Healing
Whole Health Therapy acknowledges these inseparably

Our Role is to observe dysfunctional tissue patterns and provide successful pattern interrupts. The extra efficiency in the tissue functions as an added resource allowing the body to recover in a more supported environment.

Treating the body is inseparable from treating the mind. Recognition of this empowers us to achieve lasting results by recognizing how our environment including thoughts, experiences and how we move collectively inform your treatment plan.

Our bodily alignment and posture affect the tissues which are contained within. We will protect things that hurt with posture that adapts around the dysfunction. This often results in other adaptations the longer we spend energy maintaining our compensations.

It's all connected. Common sense healthcare has to look at the whole picture. We cant isolate a shoulder, a hip or a toe and know how that informs movement on the entirety of the structure. We have to see it all.

Denise R

Kevin is truly amazing. My first visit was due to pain in my back, hip area, I truly could barely walk. Kevin delved into my problem like a detective, provided relief, doable home exercises, and I was pain free in a couple of weeks. His knowledge and expertise is incredible. I totally recommend this practice.

Mark D

Kevin is one of the best massage therapists I have ever encountered--and I have worked with a lot of massage therapists. The massage itself was excellent--he easily found the trigger points that needed to be released, and he did not waste time aimlessly massaging spots that did not need attention. What particularly sets him apart is the analytical skills he uses to find and address the source of muscle dysfunction. At the beginning of the appointment, he observed my posture and asked a lot of questions to figure out what was bothering me, and then he worked methodically to address these issues. Throughout the massage, he was constantly observing, revising, and updating his theories, and I learned a lot from the observations he made. His knowledge of anatomy is encyclopedic.

What Our Clients Say

Jon R

Kevin is the ideal therapist, he’s intrigued in what he does and he earnestly wants to help. He actively sought solutions for my shoulder problem, which ended up being connected to my back and hips. I couldn’t have survived without his help. Seriously, he was so kind, professional, and helpful.
